We Create Safe Spaces to Learn, Train, & Grow in The Art Of Swordplay

Everyone has their own path and goals for training in Historical Martial Arts, and there is often no ‘one size fits all’ solution to personal growth. Offering individualized training adjustments when appropriate or requested is essential to creating an open, welcoming space for all who wish to train and learn.

TSD does not allow discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, size, profession or nature of employment, or any basis of discrimination prohibited by law.

Code of Conduct

TSD does not tolerate bullying and/or harassment of any individuals or groups. Bullying is systematic and unwelcome behavior which involves the use of influence, threat, intimidation, or coercion to cause hurt or harm to another person or group of people. When the bullying behavior is based on a protected class that behavior can be defined as harassment.

All persons engaged in activities under the TSD banner are expected to follow these guidelines of behavior.

Safety

  • Emotional Safety is as important as Physical Safety.

  • Provide students with safe, effective training foundations, and encouragement to grow through their practice.

  • Proactively identify and eliminate unsafe elements in the environment. This includes people if they are unsafe in practice/application, hostile in interpersonal interactions, or if they jeopardize the safety of themselves or others.
